Fun, interactive language sessions to suit any year group and any budget!
Many schools use language
companies or their own non-specialist teachers to deliver MFL lessons in
school. Here are some key reasons why Lingotot is different:
- Amaze your children, parents and OfSted!
- Sessions suitable for all ages from Foundation Stage. Non-specialist teachers may not have the skills to use a language fluently with this age group as children cannot easily access traditional paper-based language activities.
- Classes delivered almost entirely in the target language. This is very useful if your school does not have a specialist teacher. Many language companies use tutors who speak a lot of English in class.
- Highly engaging, interactive sessions for children. We prefer to conduct our interactive sessions in the school hall rather than a classroom and we don’t use worksheets.
- Linked to the curriculum. You choose the topic! We can tailor the topic to your needs; minibeasts, under the sea, fairy stories, the list goes on! We also link classes to EYFS, Letters & Sounds and the KS2 Framework for Languages.
- Family learning is at the heart of what we do. Parents are very welcome to attend sessions as children learn the language better when they see those around them using it too. We give lots of advice and helpsheets for parents to take home.
- A personalised website full of follow-up activities. Please contact us to see a sample of a working website. You will need a special URL and password to see the resources.
- Value for money. The sessions cost from as little as £1.85 per child or could even be provided at no cost to the school if we bill parents directly.
