Hello, Bonjour! مرحبًا :)

I am Kenza, originally from Morocco -Casablanca. I first came to london when I was 18 years old and now I am a pround wife and mom of 3 children.

I had my BA in Business Management and I have been working in hospitality sector since then. I`ve always loved my job as a receptionist in a Hotel in London. Every day I got to meet people from all parts of the world; people who speak different languages. It was always a pleasure to assist them with all their enquiries even when they could not speak English. To see the smile on their faces as they walk away always made me feel so deeply proud of myself and thankful to the way my parents raised me as well as the gift of being Bilingual.

I had my eldest daughter when I was 21 years old and after 18 months, I had my second one. I felt really overwhelmed, I had plans to raise them bilingual but I eventually found myself giving up as I couldn’t find support or a community class in my area where I could take my daughters so we could be together and learn a new language in an interactive fun way.

As the years go on, the idea is always stuck in my brain but being on a full-time job based in London, I barely got to spend time with them. In 2019 was the birth of my son, this was the most unexpected life changing gift. I took my maternity leave and just when it was about time to go back to work and again disconnect from my kids, the pandemic hit then the hotel was closed. This was when I made my decision to completely switch career, not only to do what I always wished for my own kids but also to spread my love of languages and pass it on to the generations in my community. Lingotot family was the only place where I felt I would love to belong to. 

Lingotot classes are packed full of interactive songs, games, stories, a craft and most importantly, they are fun! All the sessions are conducted almost entirely in the target language and in our community classes, you learn alongside your children.  Classes are suitable for babies, toddlers, young children and their parents/carers so that the whole family can enjoy learning a new language together.
