Bonjour, Ciao, Hola!

My name is Priya and I am a mum to my wonderful son, Rohan, who is six and a half years old and wife to my equally wonderful husband, Ravi, who is obviously a lot lot older!

I have a passion for learning languages which started when I was at school and I studied GCSE's in French & Spanish. My first French school exchange took place in Paris and this is where I fell in love with everything French. I continued to study French with Management at University and lived in Montreal, Canada for a year where I attended the renowned HEC Montreal academy. This was one of the most inspirational years of my life, where I met and studied with so many different and interesting people from all over the world.

I then spent 10 years in the world of banking and insurance, travelling to Europe and using my languages where possible. After my son arrived, I moved to work for a fabulous international charity and managed products which helped customers to maximise funds donated into the third sector.

And then came along Lingotot ...the perfect opportunity for me to use my experience and help children to learn new languages and skills from a young age, as well as balancing my role as a working mum. I am so excited by how Lingotot classes are packed full of interactive songs, games, stories, crafts and most importantly, they are fun! Classes are tailored according to age and are suitable for babies, toddlers, school children and their parents/carers so that the whole family can enjoy learning a new language together.

Online Classes

We started attending Lingotot classes at KB02 with my 2 year old prior to lockdown and the classes with Priya have been excellent. She's incredibly passionate & cheerful and her energy is contagious. It's incredible how much French you can learn in 30 mins. We have continued with the online classes during lockdown which my 3 year old has also attended. The class is a great mix of movement, storytelling, songs and fun with the added bonus of learning a new language. I highly recommend this class. Priya is a wonderful teacher! Thank you.

Little Lingotots French

Priya is a fantastic teacher, with lots of enthusiasm and passion for teaching children 'en francais'! She is committed and my son loves her classes, if you're thinking of having a taster session, go along and see for yourself, it's a great way of engaging children in something different. Languages are so important, especially if introduced at a younger age. Thank you Lingotot Southgate ! See you for our next session soon.

Little Lingotots - French

I attended one of Lingotot's French sessions with my six year old twin boys. The lesson was delivered by Priya of Lingotot Southgate. The session was very interactive and Priya was excellent at communicating to both parents and children about what would happen throughout the session.

Priya has a very good tone and made the session really fun for the children, especially when doing the songs and dance movements. The children loved storytelling with the French version of Goldilocks and the Three bears, the props Priya used were colorful and a great visual tool while the story was being told, to help the children to understand.

Priya's Lingotot lessons are well prepared, planned, engaging and fun. They flow very well and my children really enjoyed attending, we will definitely be coming again!
