Hello! Bonjour! Guten Tag!

My name’s Lucy Peach and I’m the owner of Lingotot Northampton. I'm incredibly excited to be part of the ever-growing Lingotot family! Languages have been a passion of mine since I first started learning them in school. Following my Degree in French and German, I completed a Masters in translation before working in that industry for a number of years.

Whilst I have taught French, German and English as an additional language to learners of many ages, I truly believe in the benefits of introducing languages to children as early as possible, even from birth! Research has shown that language learning can boost the academic and social development of children, whilst also giving them a greater appreciation of the different cultures and backgrounds they will no doubt encounter in life. I could go on for hours about the reasons why learning another language is so great!

At Lingotot, we say that languages are ‘child’s play’, and this is because our sessions combine fun and interactive songs, games, crafts and stories to capture the imagination of learners aged 0 to 11. There are also plenty of opportunities for adults to get involved so you can learn together as a family. We run sessions in nurseries and primary schools, as well as within the community, so please get in touch if you’d like to find out more!
