I'm Zsuzsa, mum to a fantastic and now teenage daughter, two beautiful fur babies and Ozzie the budgie. I´m originally from Hungary and fell in love with the English language when I spent two years in England as an au-pair and now, I've been living and working in England for almost 20 years.
I am a local primary school teacher from Cambourne. I have 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher, MFL lead and Spanish teacher. While working as an MFL lead, one of my priorities were to help upskill my colleagues in teaching languages so I secured a nearly 30,000 Euros grant from Erasmus + which enabled twelve teachers to spend a week in Spain or France immersed in the language and culture. Another priority of mine was to provide children with real life opportunities for practising the language so I made connections with schools from abroad through eTwinning and later on other methods to allow us to collaborate on different projects together. As a result of this, we gained the International School Award, the full accreditation.
I love music, baking (sourdough bread is one of my specialities), cooking, travelling, walking, learning languages and delicious food.
My first degree is in English language and English language teaching and Linguistics where I also acquired my CELTA qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) but found a passion for play-based learning whilst working with children. Hence why Lingotot is the perfect pursuit for me because I get to combine my love of languages and playful learning.

I love teaching children languages and watching them process new words. It is so rewarding to help them experience a new language. Learning a language at a young age is so valuable as children truly are like sponges and they can acquire it in a playful manner. The younger they learn a second or third language, the more likely it is to become second nature to them, and a skill they can maintain forever.

Lingotot classes are packed full of interactive songs, games, stories, craft activities and most importantly, they are fun! All of the sessions are conducted almost entirely in the target language and in our community classes, you learn alongside your children. Classes are suitable for babies, toddlers, young children and their parents/carers so that the whole family can enjoy learning a new language together.

Lingotot West Cambridge teaches in community classes, day nurseries, KS1 and KS2 at Primary Schools (PPA), Lunch and Afterschool clubs, Generations classes and holiday camps. Sessions/ lessons/ camps is led/ taught by Zsuzsa, owner and fully qualified MFL teacher who is DBS checked, fully insured and fully trained including first aid. For holiday camps, there is also always another one or two adults (depending on club size) who is/ who are also DBS checked.
