An Introduction to FRENCH FOREST SCHOOL - June 3rd 2021

I am delighted to be offering 2 days of an Introduction to  LINGOTOT FOREST SCHOOL sessions in French and Spanish on the Thursday and Friday of half term at the beginning of June.  This is an ideal opportunity to enhance any languages that your child maybe already be learning at school and will also provide an experience of learning what may be a totally new language!

I am offering one day of French and one day of Spanish to give children in Key Stage 2 the opportunity to experience both languages.  This will then help me gauge which language(s) to focus on for a week's Forest School at the centre in August!  

This is an awesome venue and we will have sole use of the facilities.  Days will be mostly spent outdoors, learning about nature in the target language and having lots of fun.  We will also have the newly built Saxon Long-House as our indoor space for crafts and in case of bad weather.

 

TIMETABLE

8.30-9am - Drop-off (Crafts)

9-10.30am - Explore site and Intro to Forest Curriculum

10.30-11am - Break and Playtime!

11-12.30pm - Forest School Curriculum

12.30-1.30pm Lunch and Playtime!

1.30-3pm - Forest School Curriculum

3pm - Forest School Crafts

3.30-4pm - Pick Up

4pm - Site Closes

The Early Bird price for the Forest School is £32 per day. Children will need a packed lunch each day and wellies/suncream/suitable clothing.   

Please be assured that we will be running the Forest School in a Covid-secure way.  If the session needs to be postponed because of unforeseen circumstances relating to Covid then a full refund will be given.  Please note - I am unable to accept Childcare vouchers for the bookings.

If your child has any food allergies/intolerances or medicinal requirements please add these details to your booking form.  In the same section, please could you also inform me of your child's experience of French/Spanish. Absolute Beginners are very welcome as lots of the language used in the Forest School curriculum will be new to everyone!
