Guten Tag and Bonjour!

My name is Katrin, I’m a native German speaker and I run Lingotot in Winchester. We cover the areas of Winchester, Alresford, Itchen Valley, Meon Valley, Stockbridge, Fair Oak, Bishop’s Waltham and more.

After studying photography, I travelled the world and my passion for travel lead me to work in the tourism industry which allowed me to live many years in France, 3 years back in Germany and 3 years in Greece, before moving to the UK. I’ve always loved travelling and learning new languages. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to talk to and understand someone from another nationality. Speaking different languages has opened doors to wonderful adventures and opportunities around Europe and the world and I would recommend the experience to everyone!

Lingotot Winchester teach in community classes, day nurseries, KS1 and KS2 at Primary Schools (PPA), Lunch and Afterschool clubs. Currently we run live online classes as well as face-to-face classes!

Our classes are suitable for babies, toddlers and young children. In our lessons, the kids (and parents!) are introduced to the language through play, songs, storytelling, crafts and lots and lots of fun! We run sessions during term time and you can join at any point during the term. Resources are linked to each lesson, so you can continue your family's language learning journey at home. 

We also offer private tuition for all ages and are able to run through holidays to either catch up or advance with your language skills.
