Lingotot Drogheda & East Meath Discuss Language Learning on The Late Lunch show on LMFM

Lingotot Drogheda & East Meath was set up by entrepreneur Elena Calavia in 2021. Elena grew up in a multilingual household in Spain and learnt French from a very young age. This allowed her to see first hand the benefits of learning more than one language whilst growing up. After a long career in the legal profession, Elena decided to go back to her first love of languages, leading her to Lingotot.

Lingotot Drogheda & East Meath now teach Spanish and French to children in primary schools, pre schools and community venues in their local area. Classes are fun and interactive, using games, stories, crafts, drama and play to help children learn naturally without them realizing they are doing so.

Elena recently appeared on the Late Lunch Show on LMFM to discuss with their host more about how the Lingotot method of teaching works and what benefits come with learning a second language at a young age. You can listen to the full radio discussion here (you can find Elena’s section at 01:05:20).
