Sara Barrett who started her language teaching business less than a year ago has been named as a finalist in the Kent Women in Business Awards!

These prestigious awards are intended to reward innovation, raise standards and generate awareness of women in business across Kent. This year has been the busiest yet for the Kent Women in Business Awards with a record number of entries.

Sara, who lives in Maidstone with her husband and children, launched her Lingotot children’s language teaching business in the summer, in a bid to share her passion and engage youngsters in the joy of learning foreign languages. She teaches children aged 0-11 in local primary schools and community settings and has already hired staff to keep up with the demand for her interactive and multi-sensory French and Spanish classes.

Sara says “I am absolutely delighted that I have been named as a finalist in the awards after such a short time in business. I really love what I do and it’s a fantastic feeling to have my hard work recognised.”

The final results will be announced during a live ceremony on 9th March at the Great Danes and I am sure we all wish her buena suerte!
