Lingotot’s CEO Angela Sterling Takes Part in CEO Meets with the BFA

The BFA, or British Franchise Association, is the pioneering and largest not-for-profit association for franchising in the UK. Their CEO, Pip Wilkins, has been meeting with CEO’s all over the UK to discuss their businesses, how COVID-19 has transformed them and what their futures look like.

Most recently Pip met with Angela Sterling, the CEO of the children’s education franchise Lingotot. Lingotot teaches languages to children aged 0-12 in partnership with schools, nurseries, communities and parents across the UK and Ireland. As you can imagine, with the forced closure of these settings during the pandemic, Lingotot had to think fast.

This is exactly what they did. They prepared online lessons for day 1 of the first lockdown, rewrote lesson plans, introduced outdoor learning settings as lockdowns eased, and much more.

Anglea says, ‘it was an absolute pleasure talking to Pip. We are so proud of our business and the way we have pulled together during these tough times and it was lovely to share our experiences. Thank you for having us on!’

You can find out more about Lingotot, their experience during the pandemic and their prospects for the future in the full CEO Meets interview with the BFA here.
