Lingotot Launches Free Lessons For Ukrainian Families Settling in the UK

The children’s education franchise Lingotot are launching a project alongside the wonderful Svetlana, an English teacher from the Ukraine. The project is called Lingotot Friends Together and its aim is to help Ukrainian families settle into the UK. It gives Ukrainian families and their UK host families the chance to learn some basic language together at home, both Ukrainian and English. Lingotot will also be sending details of the lessons to schools who are welcoming new Ukrainian pupils. The idea is for schools to show the lessons in class for the children to all learn both languages together and have some fun and be playful. There are a lot of games and interactive sections in the lessons. Lingotot hopes that not only will this help with the language element, but that it will make the Ukrainian pupils and families feel welcome in their new environment.
These lessons will be available to all via the Lingotot YouTube channel which you can find here. Starting from Tuesday 13th June the lessons will be released weekly onto the channel with supporting follow up worksheets available along with the video.
