Welcome to Lingotot Buckhurst Hill!

 

My name is Mandy and I live in Buckhurst Hill with my husband and our daughters Lila Rose (7) and Anaya (5). Having been born and raised in a bilingual home in the South of France, my love of languages developed from a very young age. I have been speaking French to my own children since they were born so they could benefit from learning a second language from a young age like I did. Both are bilingual and always interested in learning new words.

After completing my baccalaureate In France, I came to London to study Marketing Communications and worked as a manager for Breitling for a number of years. 

Then along came the children and priorities changed, and I discovered Lingotot.

I am really excited to share my passion through this award-winning programme and open up the world of modern languages to children living in our community. Lingotot classes are packed full of songs, games, stories, crafts and most importantly, they are fun!

I have been teaching French to children aged 0-11 years for the past 3 years. 

I love teaching children, and watching them grow, develop and learn. It is so rewarding to help them experience a new language and watch them progress. Learning a language at a young age is so valuable as children truly are like sponges. The younger they learn a  second or third language, the more likely it is to become second nature to them, and a skill they can maintain forever.  

I currently teach in nurseries, preschools, schools (French clubs), community classes (parents and babies) and also do private tuition.
