About LINGOTOT PORTSMOUTH

Bonjour, hola, hallo!  My name is Deborah, I am a Portsmouth-born gal and I live in the Fareham area with my husband and young family. I am a violinist by trade and have loved spending the past 20 years teaching as a peripatetic music teacher in local schools and colleges. I also have a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and was looking for something where I could combine my love of music (through singing), teaching and languages - and Lingotot was exactly what I was looking for! I love the Lingotot approach to language learning for little ones; fun and engaging sessions, learning languages in a natural way, as we would do with our native language.  Lingotot Portsmouth was launched in September 2020 and is busy establishing itself within the Fareham and Portsmouth areas!

Since the Autumn term 2021, I have had the pleasure of teaching French and Spanish to children in Key Stage 2 at Wicor Primary school. It had been an absolute pleasure to continue this teaching for the academic year 22-23 and I am now delighted to announce that this will continue for the next academic year 23-24.

SUMMER TERM  Tuesdays 3.20-4.20pm Spanish After School Club for Years 3, 4 & 5 at Wicor Primary School

After a lovely Spring term of Spanish After School Clubs at Wicor Primary School, bookings are now open for the Summer term. This club is now combined for pupils in Years 3, 4 & 5 who are already learning Spanish at the school. This will be a 10 week course which will expand on pupils' previous knowledge of Spanish and introduce them to some extra fun-themed Spanish learning through songs, games, stories and craft!

I am looking to expand the Lingotot Portsmouth team this academic year and would love to hear from any language tutors/native speakers with teaching experience who may be interested in joining me in the local primary schools as PPA cover, and taking local community classes/nursery sessions in the Portsmouth/Fareham area. The schools are mainly looking for French, Spanish and German tuition, but other languages provided by Lingotot could be considered. Full training for teaching at Key Stages 1 and 2, and community classes, will be provided!  I'm also looking for enthusiastic language students to help me run the holiday camps.
