Bonjour!
My name is Aurelie and I run Lingotot Barnet. I live locally with my husband and our 2 years old gorgeous little boy.

I'm originaly from Paris and moved to London in my early 20s where I fell in love with the language and the culture (and then my husband too) so it became clear to me that I would spend the beginning of the rest of my life here.

When I had my little boy, I knew straight away that I wanted to raise him bilingual. Learning a language at a young age is so valuable as children truly are like sponges! The younger they learn a second or third language, the more likely it is to become second nature to them, and a skill they can maintain forever.
So after spending the past year taking him to lots and lots of playgroups, I kept thinking to myself how fun it would be to offer similar classes, but in French, for little ones to have the chance to learn too. And then I discovered lingotot ...

The lessons are a wonderful mix of interactive games, songs, stories and crafts conducted almost entirely in the target language; you get to learn alongside your child whilst having lots of fun together. Classes are suitable for babies, toddlers and young children and we offer plenty of support for parents/carers so that you can continue your family's learning at home.

Lingotot offers the ONLY PRIMARY LANGUAGES QUALIFICATIONS FOR CHILDREN IN THE UK. You can be rest assured that our programme is of the highest quality as we are fully accredited by NCFE CACHE, an OfQual regulated awarding body.

Lingotot Barnet teach in community classes, but also in nurseries, KS1 and KS2 at Primary Schools (PPA) and afterschool clubs.
