Bonjour!

My name is Angela, mum to Annalise and Eleanor and I founded Lingotot in 2010 when on maternity leave.

It had been a lifelong ambition of mine to start teaching languages to very young children. I went to Paris to work as an Au Pair when I was 18 and I looked after children as young as two who spoke multiple languages fluently. I was always very impressed at how easily they switched from one language to another.

I returned to the UK to complete my teacher training and have worked in a range of schools with a range of ages both in the UK and overseas: Lycée Claude Monet, Paris, France; Bannockburn High School, Stirling, Scotland; Hirst Park Middle School, Ashington, England; Wellington International School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Newcastle University, England.

I believe in introducing children to languages through play, songs and fun! All of the sessions are conducted almost entirely in the target language and you learn with your children. We offer plenty of support for mums, dads and grandmas so you can continue your family's language learning journey at home.
