View class¡Hola! Bonjour! Hallo! Ciao! I'm María, originally from sunny Spain and now proudly calling London home for over a decade — 17+ years in the UK altogether. As a fully qualified and experienced secondary languages teacher, I’ve spent many years helping teenagers fall in love with languages. But recently, my passion has taken a new direction.
As a mum to two curious little linguists aged 8 and 9, I’ve been amazed by how naturally and enthusiastically young children absorb new languages. Inspired by their journey and eager to spend more time with them, I decided to take a break from the secondary classroom and dedicate myself fully to teaching little ones through Lingotot.
I believe that early exposure to languages is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children — not just for communication, but for confidence, creativity, and cultural understanding. Through play, songs, stories, and laughter, I’m excited to bring the joy of language learning to families in my community.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your children to our Lingotot adventures!
Little Lingotots Classes
"Maria is an amazing Spanish teacher whose classes are always fun, creative, and engaging. The songs she uses are fantastic, and my daughter has been learning so much—from new words to growing confidence in the language. Maria is super friendly, professional, and clearly takes great pride in what she does. She interacts beautifully with the children and makes every class enjoyable. I highly recommend her lessons, and we will definitely be returning to her classes in January!"

Little Lingotots to all
I can’t say enough good things about these Spanish lessons. My 3-year-old, who is on the autism spectrum, has truly benefited from them. Maria creates a calm, welcoming environment and shows so much patience and understanding. The lessons are thoughtfully structured, playful, and flexible, which makes a huge difference for young children with ASD.
Singing has been a beautiful bridge for language, and I’ve seen my child become more engaged and comfortable over time. It’s clear that inclusivity and respect are at the heart of her teaching. I feel very lucky to have found these lessons and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any family looking for a positive, nurturing introduction to Spanish through singing, stories and play.

To parents looking for a fun way to introduce their little ones to Spanish
For the past 5 months I attended a baby and toddler Spanish class and I found it to be a really positive experience. The sessions are fun, relaxed and well suited to young children with lots of songs and bright visuals to keep them engaged. The teacher Maria is super friendly and patient, using repetition and gestures to help the children understand basic words and phrases. It feels like a great introduction to a new language in a playful, low - pressure environment. Overall it is an enjoyable class that encourages early learning and interaction and I would recommend it to parents looking for a fun way to introduce their little ones to Spanish.
