Bonjour and welcome to Lingotot Hemel Hempstead! My name is Natasha and I live in Hemel Hempstead with my husband, two small children and two cats. I have always felt that learning another language is like stepping into someone else’s world, and I love bringing that magic and joy of learning to young children in Hemel Hempstead.

With the use of songs, games, crafts and movement, French lessons are taught in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas in the form of community classes, nursery classes and primary school lunchtime and after school clubs.

As a child, I LOVED the idea of learning to speak a foreign language, and that curiosity and passion led me to study French and German all the way through school and university where I did my degree in Modern Foreign Languages.

After university, I spent several years living and teaching English abroad: Lyon in France, Augsburg in Germany and Berne in Switzerland (and a very short stint in Senegal, West Africa). I then decided to do a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting, and had a long career as an in-house and then freelance translator.

Starting a family paused my career (in the best possible way!). While looking for fun and creative language work to suit my new schedule, I discovered the fantastic Lingotot Franchise!
