On our first year of Key Stage 2, children at GM switch from Spanish to French. By this point, children who have been at the school have an excellent foundation to acquire basic knowledge of another language, and children entering the school, can enjoy the KS2 programme from the start, progressing through to Y6, when they acquire their Primary Languages Certificate.
