It's been a lovely few weeks for Lingotot, with franchisees popping up in award nominations and shortlists around the country.
Sophie Palmer from Lingotot Matlock was a finalist in the Franchisee of the Year category at the Lots for Tots Awards. If you've ever met Sophie, this won't come as a huge surprise. She's built a fantastic business in her area and the children she teaches just love her, so it was lovely to see her recognised.
Lauren Bromley from Lingotot Chester-le-Street was shortlisted in the Young Woman in Franchising category at the national EWiF Awards. Lauren joined Lingotot as a franchisee only last year after previously being tutor and has grown her business substantially in a very short space of time. Running a business can feel daunting at any age, never mind when many of your friends are choosing a completely different path, so we were particularly pleased to see Lauren named as a finalist.
Meanwhile, Ashleigh and Claire from Lingotot South Tyneside were nominated for Business in the Community at the South Tyneside Business Awards. Anyone who knows Ashleigh and Claire will know how much time they spend building relationships in their local area. Whether it's schools, nurseries, parents or community groups, they always seem to be involved in something and are passionate about giving children opportunities they might not otherwise have.
What I love about all three stories is that they're completely different. But all three have built successful businesses by turning up consistently, looking after their customers and getting involved in their local communities.
Congratulations to Sophie, Lauren, Ashleigh and Claire. It's great to see your hard work being recognised!
