As part of our PPA cover provision, I offer fun, interactive Spanish language lessons tailored specifically for Early Years and Key Stage 1 learners (Reception to Year 2). The sessions are designed to introduce young children to a new language in a playful, engaging way while supporting their listening, speaking, and memory skills.

What to Expect:

1. Play-Based Learning: Songs, rhymes, and movement-based games to reinforce key vocabulary and phrases.
2. Cultural Awareness: Simple stories, celebrations, and traditions from Spanish-speaking countries to broaden children's global understanding.
3. Age-Appropriate Content: Focus on topics such as colours, numbers, animals, greetings, and everyday classroom language.
4. Repetition and Routine: Consistent structure each week to help build confidence and support language retention.
5. Cross-Curricular Links: Lessons often incorporate music, art, and storytelling to support wider EYFS and KS1 curriculum areas.
