Lingotot GENERATIONS Saturday Spanish in a Care Home LAUNCH
Come and join us for the LAUNCH of some Spanish fun and help some care home residents grow old GRACIASfully.
This class is held in a retirement home and residents are invited to come and join in.
You may have seen the recent documentaries or read the news articles about the benefits to both children and the elderly when they spend time together. Our owner Sarah is passionate about helping the elderly feel engaged in society and not lonely.
Sessions are fun and interactive, and packed with songs in the target language. There is lots of movement, dancing, playing, use of instruments, parachutes and listening to stories.
There is a craft to make during the second half of the session, and bilingual toys to play with for the younger ones.
We also provide a snack and water for the children.
The venue has free parking, baby changing facilities, and plenty of space to park a buggy.
Session is approx minutes long.
NB: If the home are happy to continue after the event, we will post the term dates online to book
