Yesterday we completed our annual inspection with NCFE.
For context, NCFE is the awarding organisation we partner with to deliver our accredited qualifications. This includes our primary modern foreign language qualifications for children, as well as qualifications for teachers and franchisees.
The inspection process is robust. It examines quality assurance systems, assessment practice, internal verification, compliance, learner experience and governance. It is extremely thorough by design and we really welcome that!
External quality assurance is not something we view as a box ticking exercise. It ensures that what we deliver is consistent, credible and nationally recognised. It protects learners, schools and the integrity of our suite of qualifications.
We are currently the only organisation in the UK delivering accredited primary MFL qualifications for children. With that comes responsibility and we will not ever allow our standards to slip.
Thank you to Rachael Lacey, Principal EQA at NCFE, for her detailed feedback and constructive challenge. Quality assurance is embedded into our model and it is one of the key reasons our qualifications hold weight and why schools can trust what we deliver.
