Hello Language Lovers!
We are thrilled to share something very special with you. This year, Lingotot is proudly hosting its very first World Book Day Festival and we could not be more excited to invite families to be part of it.
Following the fantastic response to our Christmas and European Day of Languages festivals, it felt like the perfect time to create something equally inspiring for World Book Day. Books, stories and language learning belong together, and this festival brings all three to life in a way only Lingotot can.
Our World Book Day Festival is a free online event taking place on Thursday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm. It is open to all children aged 3 to 12, whether they attend nursery, school, or are learning at home. This makes it a brilliant opportunity for families everywhere to join in, without travel or cost getting in the way.
Throughout the afternoon, children will be invited to take part in lively, interactive sessions inspired by the magical world of Roald Dahl. Each session will be delivered in French, German or Spanish and will be bursting with energy, creativity and fun. Expect storytelling that captures imaginations, songs that get children moving and activities that gently build confidence with new words and sounds.
Every session has been carefully designed to introduce children to Roald Dahl stories in a way that feels playful, welcoming and easy to follow. Even children who are completely new to language learning will feel comfortable joining in, while those with some experience will love showing off what they already know. It is all about sparking curiosity, encouraging participation and helping children associate languages with joy and excitement.
From a parent’s point of view, this festival is also a wonderful way to see how engaging language learning can be when it is done well. You will get a real taste of the Lingotot approach and how we use stories and music to build strong foundations for future learning.
If you are looking for a meaningful World Book Day activity that entertains, educates and inspires, this is one not to miss. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to register early.
